About
About me
Starting from a BSc in Civil Engineering, I have dealt with issues related to vulnerability assessment and safe community planning in several Norwegian counties since 1989. In 2000 I obtained an MSc in Geograhic Information Systems from the University of Leicester, UK, focusing on least-cost paths and network analysis using GIS tools.
Since 2004 I have served as a member of the program committee on European Policy and Research with the Association for European Transport, AET. In 2005 I was appointed as member of the Transportation Economics Committee ABE20 with the Transportation Research Board, TRB.
In the autumn of 2005 I joined Molde Research Institute, Molde, Norway, as part of the Transport Economics Research Group, where my main scope of work is transport modelling, impact analysis, and cost-benefit evaluations.
In addition, I am also working on my PhD at Molde University College, Molde, Norway. My personal research interest are
- supply chain risk
- transportation network vulnerability
